Privacy Policy

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address, or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The use of contact data published as part of the legal notice obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.

Hosting

This website is hosted as a static website on Microsoft Azure (Azure Static Web Apps, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., region West Europe/Netherlands). When you access the pages, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type) in server log files. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable provision of the website). The website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services.

Contact form

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, type of event, message) will be processed to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request). For the technical transmission we use the service Formspree, provided by Formspree, Inc. (USA), as a processor; the transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Your data is only stored for as long as necessary to process your enquiry.

Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we store about you (Art. 15 GDPR) as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for Hesse, this is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
